Young Anthony caught up to me at a convention at Kemper Arena (June 1-3, 2007) and he had a just got the popular ‘Madera‘ beautiful red bow tie from our site. He looked great and it was encouraging to hear how young people are really getting into bow ties and standing out from the crowd.  He also shared this nice comment:

“Tim, I finally learned how to tie my own bow ties! It was really easy.  What I like are the compliments that people give me. I usually get told that I look like an actor or an artist or something, everyone loves them.  Bow ties Rock!”

I agree Anthony.  Keep the faith buddy and keep ‘Setting Yourself Apart’ from everyone else!

What a nice comment:

“What a wonderful web site. For years I have worn bow ties for the simple reason that they do not go out of date and are much more interesting than the usual boring ties. I teach children aged 11 to 18 and they love my ties and each week I get orders to wear a certain bow tie as that is their favorite. Now I must have over 350 ties and my first job each day is to decide which bow tie suits my mood! I also wear cuff links which sometimes matches the tie .Anyway there are a sign of individuality and in this boring age of conformity I believe we have a duty to brighten up people’s lives and make them smile. Keep it up!”

Sometimes, construction workers get a bad rap.  Like these two guys.  I was on a speaking assignment in Joplin, Missouri, where I met up with them. Both very nicely dressed, in suits, they even had pocket sqaures and cufflinks on! Go Midwest!! They loved the bow tie and wanted to take a picture with me.  Here is the one they sent to me…

Like the saying goes, “you can’t judge a book by it’s cover”. (Why would you even want to?)  I don’t know, they liked the new bow tie I had on, so that was cool with me.

I just returned from Colorado Springs, Colorado and WOW! what a beautiful place.  Those mountains are awesome.

One of the things that was pleasantly surprising, was at the Konnogan Wedding I attended, many people came up and were inquiring about my bow tie, where to get a good bow tie, how to tie it, how much they love them, etc.  (Of course, I directed them to our site)  I also let them know, and I am letting you in on this too, that we will be putting on another 70 new ties this weekend.  Look for them this Monday, April 23!

Take care everyone and “thank you” for your business, support and feedback.  You keep it coming and I’ll keep getting the items you want.

Tim

Sorry for the delay, here is the update from the MAGIC Men’s International Apparel Show.  There were upwards of 150,000 vendors/retailers there, and there was a lot of fantastic silk bow ties to look through, and some fantastic suppliers of other merchandise like pocketsquares, neckwear, cufflinks, (grills), shirts and suits, etc, etc.

Since this was an International show, we spent quite a bit of time talking with some manufacturers from China.  Some of these that were there make beautiful bow ties already for big names here in the States so we discussed in detail with them about our own label Bow Tie Style

We got a lot accomplished, and purchased a number of new style silk freestyle bow ties that are now available on our revised website.  Check them out! Of course, all bow ties and no fun make Tim a very dull guy (there, I said it), so we all had a fun time too.  I mean come on, this is Vegas baby!

(Frankie looks good in that hat, I should have bought it for him)

Well, here we go.  We have revised the site for you, we have put on there the new silk bow ties for you, have a great time shopping.  And if there is anything you need or have any questions, please drop us an email at service@bowtiestyle.com

Hey everyone,

Not to get off the subject of bow ties, but, getting off the subject of bow ties, if you ever get the chance to eat at Gallaghers, you will enjoy the finest and most delicious steak you will ever get in a restaurant.
